This Privacy Policy describes how Calco (“Formula Vault,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application (the “App”) on Android, including through Google Play. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect or receive the following types of information:

• Device and usage data: Device type, operating system, app version, and general usage (e.g., feature usage, crashes) to improve the App.
• Data you provide: Content you create in the App (e.g., formulas, categories, calculation history) is stored locally on your device. We do not upload this content to our servers unless you use a feature that explicitly syncs or shares data.
• Advertising-related data: Our advertising partners may collect device identifiers (such as advertising ID), IP address, and interaction with ads to show relevant ads and measure ad performance. See Section 3.
• In-app purchase data: When you make in-app purchases, Google Play processes the transaction. We may receive non-sensitive purchase information (e.g., product ID, purchase time) to provide and restore purchases. We do not collect or store your payment card details. See Section 4.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features.
• Display advertisements and measure ad performance (see Section 3).
• Process and restore in-app purchases (see Section 4).
• Analyze usage and fix bugs, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. Advertising

The App may show advertisements provided by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob). These partners may collect and use data including:

• Advertising ID (e.g., Android Advertising ID)
• Device information (e.g., type, OS version)
• IP address and approximate location
• Interactions with ads (e.g., views, clicks)

4. In-App Purchases

In-app purchases (e.g., premium features, remove ads) are processed by Google Play Billing. Google collects and processes payment information according to its own terms and privacy policy. We receive only information necessary to:

• Unlock purchased content or features in the App.
• Restore purchases when you reinstall the App or use a new device.

5. Third-Party Services

We use services provided by Google and other third parties that may collect or process data, including:

• Google Play Services – app distribution, updates, in-app billing.
• Advertising networks (e.g., Google AdMob) – ad delivery and analytics.
• Analytics / crash reporting (if we use such tools) – to improve stability and performance.

6. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as needed to provide the App, comply with law, or enforce our terms. Data stored only on your device (e.g., formulas, history) remains until you clear app data or uninstall the App.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Data you create in the App is stored locally on your device. Any data transmitted to or from our services or third parties is subject to standard technical safeguards; we cannot guarantee absolute security of the internet or third-party systems.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or higher age where required). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

9. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and deletion: You may request access to or deletion of personal data we hold about you by contacting us.
• Advertising: You can opt out of personalized ads via your device or Google account settings (e.g., “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android).
• Local data: You can delete data stored in the App by clearing app data or uninstalling the App.
• Jurisdiction-specific rights: If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you may have additional rights (e.g., portability, restriction, non-discrimination). Contact us to exercise them.

10. International Data

Your information may be processed in the country where you are located or in other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfer. We take steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection where required by law.

11. California Privacy

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information as traditionally understood. Advertising partners may use data in ways that could be considered “sale” or “sharing” under California law; you can limit this via device and ad settings. To exercise your rights, contact us.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App or on our website and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
